62% of hospitality owners not satisfied with breweries’ and beverage wholesalers’ COVID-19 measures: “Rent suspension is what we really need”

“Payment deferrals and pre-ordered drinks won’t save our sector,” says Tim Joiris, chairman of Horeca East Flanders. “Rent suspension is what we really need.” A survey by Horeca East Flanders among 300 hospitality owners shows that 62% are not at all satisfied with the measures breweries and beverage wholesalers are taking for them during this COVID crisis. For now, the sector is satisfied with the government’s efforts.
