Welcome to FIKA LAB, your neighborhood bar and creative laboratory. At FIKA LAB, everything revolves around the art of coming together. We are the ultimate meeting place for the neighborhood, where neighbors, friends, and colleagues gather to relax, enjoy, and create. Our atmospheric venue, with the appearance of an old-fashioned pharmacy and an abundance of plants, exudes a unique atmosphere.

Fien and Kato are two sisters behind the concept and newly started business FIKA LAB. After two pop-ups in Boutersem, they took the leap and since January 2024, they’ve continued the FIKA adventure for real!

But what makes FIKA LAB truly special? Their Swedish inspiration. They bring the coziness and flavors of Sweden to Leuven. Enjoy delicious coffee, tea, freshly baked cinnamon rolls, and Swedish meatballs. Discover their sharing food concept, where you can share snacks and drinks, served in measuring cups for an experimental experience. In the „laboratory” of creativity, you can also compose your own herbal infusions using dried herbs with optional additional explanation. But that’s not all. At FIKA LAB, you’re encouraged to put away your laptop and phone for a while. You’ll find an extensive selection of board games and various books, so you can entertain yourself and truly relax. In the near future, these enterprising ladies will also expand with creative afternoons/evenings such as a CREATIVE LAB or READING LAB or other activities in collaboration with top entrepreneurs and organizations.
